Random

so i decided to try to read 40 books this year. so far i am on book #3, yeah not so good. hopefully when the new tv shows are done and it is light later i will find more time to get reading done.

another goal i set was to run 100 miles in three months. i got the nike+ for christmas to keep track of how much i run. so far i have run almost 60 miles total since the beginning of the year. since i started my personal 100 mile challenge i have run a little over 38 miles. i am like 17 miles behind schedule, hopefully i will be able to catch up. my time is up by the end of june. the cold weather set me back in april and i have been trying to play catch up ever since. today i ran three miles. i felt pretty good for most of it too, which was surprising. i need to get the time per mile down, currently i am running about an 8 minute mile.

Veronica Mars is most likely cancelled for next season. very disappointed by this one, slight chance it will be picked up as a midseason replacement but not looking good. it is one of my top shows i enjoy watching.

i think what bothers me the most about having shows i watch get cancelled is the closure. i hate it when shows end on a cliffhanger and there is no resolution. i have to have the loose ends tied up. its kind of like watching a bad movie. even though i may not be particularly enjoying the movie, acting, or plot, i still find that i am compelled to finish the movie. maybe i have some small glimmer of hope that at the end, the movie will make sense and i will understand. even if i know the end is going to be as bad as the beginning and there is no hope for a spectacular ending that will save the movie, i watch. i have to have closure.

i wonder what that says about my personality.......
